Current state of Persons with Diabilities at the Vocational School for the Blind Gindiri, Plateau State, Nigeria.

The generally unsafe environment is characterised by absence of a fence(security), lack of portable water (students rely on a well dangerously located within the compound), unhygienic cooking condition, lack of training materials, fallen walls and roofs, frequent visits by thieves who take advantage of the situation, lack of electricity, absence of shops/market (students have to go far distances to buy basic things like toothpaste), lack of a medical facility, etc.
